William E. Coester

Mr. Coester grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Later he attended the South Dakota School of Mines and received a degree in engineering. Mr. Coester then went on to run a beer delivery company in Aberdeen before attending Law School at the South Dakota School of Law. After graduation from Law School, Mr. Coester began practicing law in Milbank, South Dakota and has continued to serve the community and surrounding area for the past 35+ years.

Mr. Coester has experience with a wide variety of legal fields and a wealth of knowledge based on his experience to help you in your legal matters.

Jackson Schwandt

Mr. Schwandt was born and raised in the Milbank area. He attended the University of South Dakota and received a degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Schwandt then spent a year as a farm machinery salesman for Titan Machinery in Milbank, SD before attending the University of South Dakota School of Law. Mr. Schwandt graduated from law school in 2015 and relocated to the Milbank area to practice and raise his family.

Mr. Schwandt has the drive and attention to detail needed to service you in your legal matters. Mr. Schwandt will serve Milbank and the surrounding area in legal matters for many years to come.

Mr. Schwandt took office as the Grant County State's Attorney in 2021 and continues to serve in that position.
